I haven't tried it myself tho. Maybe it's really hard but he got lucky...
Ive gotta ask, did you shoot it 5 times at once or keep tracking it down and putting another one into it until the thing finally gave up
I've dropped plenty of foxes irl with one.

Basically i shot one one time, it ran but didn't die. So the next one i shot I tried a few shots into it, still didn't die. So basically i just kept shooting till i killed one. at the end of the day it is not powerfull enough to kill anything but rabbits and any small game they add next like possibly the squirrel for herschfeldon. IRL I have killed foxes with a single shot from a .22 but in this game it wont.
Basically it let you attract other animal that your caller usually won't .
