Southeastern Spanish Ibex bug?

I was just hunting on Cuatro Colinas when I came across a diamond Ibex. I shot it 2 times, the first shot in the heart and in the right lung, the second shot in the right lung again. I shot him in the side of his body, so not in the front. But when I entered the harvesting screen, it said the first shot was in the right lung, heart and jaw, but when I looked at the animal only the heart and the right lung were red and the bullet didn't penetrate further into the animal. But because of the fact that the game thought I hit the animal in the jaw, the Ibex wasn't a diamond anymore but a gold. I was so sad, because I only have 3 diamonds. So a kind of bug in the game messed up what could be my fourth diamond. Unluckily I didn't make a screenshot of the harvesting screen. Can someone maybe tell me why the game said I hit it in the jaw?
