PS, I kind of wish the Moose were in Te Awaroa. I was really hoping the dev’s decided to add them and not say anything. sigh
Haha I had the same happen with this moose in TA..I totally messed up the shot, and moose can run a lonnnnngg ways if not mortally wounded. I must have tracked that thing for 2km through the woods, and this was before hunting dog DLC and the mission is always in the dark I believe
Pretty good mission, I liked that one. I reset the game and when I get to TA I am letting him live, I have been told he stays on the map until you harvest him? That be cool to run in to him once in a while and say hello
I guess yes, if you let it go it'll wander around the reserve. It was cool to see him again, I did think about letting him go, but i realised having a rogue animal running about would cause problems. He seems to hang around Reds and Sika's. So i would have to try and ignore a Moose yelling at me when I trying to sneak up to deer. lol
But was cool as it felt like the continuity wasn't broken. Like a decision I made actually had an effect on the reserve.
If you come across him say hello and take a few pics too :)
Yea exactly, I wish there was more "decision based" stuff in game, even if it doesn't really affect the map. I see your point about a rogue moose running around the reserve though.
That could be a new mission mechanic.
Basically add a species that’s not from the reserves as in invasive species. It could be a fixed amount that randomly travel the reserves. Could make it interesting and add a mathematical formula which replicates them breeding and the player has to harvest a certain amount within a long time frame or something. Once the player harvests one they get a message explain the outbreak and the number of rogue animals that need dealing with.
