THE BEST WAY TO HUNT RED FOX
I mean, I found the good way to get them.... Chasing them till I catch them up enough to shoot them with Rifle because they are slow.... at least same speed with human...

But you know, this is kind of Lion hunting and not smart at all.

Even if they are mating or warning mode and I used lure with being careful of wind stream, they dont come to me at all. So it is waste of time to wait them coming...

I want you to teach me how to ambush them without chasing like a lion.

They probably do come at you when you use a lure. From my experience Fox take a bit of time to come in to a call. More so than any other animal I've encountered. So it just takes more patience. But if running them down works better for you. Just do that. If you don't want to do that just going to require a lot of time and patience to bring them in with a call.

Position yourself downwind and use the "jackrabbit caller". Be patient and use the binos. They will come. Get comfortable with 75 to 100 + yard shots.
P.S.
Use the caller more than once at a time, 2-3 times wait. Crouch if possible, or hunker down in the brush.

I used several times like use lure, wait 5 sec, and then lure again, wait 10 sec, and use again with crouch or even crowl posture...

As Zoakadin said, I need to wait longer than now..... like 30 mins or more? Oh, I come to think chase them down is the best way... lol

Seriously, can I ask you a question?

IF THERE IS A HUNTING CONSTRUCTION THAT I MADE AND THERE IS A RED FOX

AROUND THERE, LUREING THEM AND WAITING THEM COMING AROUND THE BUILDING

WORKS WELL?

Are you using a rifle or a bow. A rifle you don't need them that close, as I said before 75-100 + yds is good. You need to use binos, zoomed in, and look in the bushes in the distance.

I am on mission so I have to use a bow...

if you have a hunting blind close, use it but it does take a little time. Fox are really careful when coming and spook easy.

Thanks. Generally, how long do you wait when you hunt them?

There is this really good guide.

The time depend on the trophy rating and how far it is at the start but not more than 10 min, which is really long when you're just sitting in a bush waiting.

If you don't have vision use sound.

I remember having a lot of trouble doing this mission. Good luck.
