Legendary, but gold :-/

For the last mission on Cuatro Colinas I need a diamond.
So I spent some time searching for animals and finally tracked down a legendary wolf.
Got a good shot, only to find out it's still only a "gold", because the score is "only" 38.9 and not 39.0 (which seems to be the requirement for a diamond).
I kind of feel betrayed … :(

Trolls happen. Sometimes, though, you'll get the surprise "reverse troll" where an animal one level lower will score diamond. Those are good days.

I think I had that yesterday when I harvested a level 4 Ibex for the 4xGold mission and it turned out to be a diamond.
Unfortunately that mission is on the same mission tree but earlier.
Also would have spared Sombra if I had known that this mission would come up.
That mission was the one I did before finishing the mission that came before the diamond challenge.
So yeah, the game is definitely trolling me, you're right about that. :(

There are bad days and then there are really bad days, Had a day when I harvested a troll of 4 different species between 0500-1130 hrs game time. I was finding bigguns, just ones that were not quite big enough. It was one of those days that leaves ya shaking your head.

Oh that's awful. I would've stopped after the second one, I think.

Luckily, I managed to bag a diamond Mouflon after spending a couple of hours wandering around the map.
(and leaving a huge trail of blood behind...)

So now I've finally finished Cuatro Colinas.
Well, apart from that 4xdiamond Ibex achievement, but I think I'll let that one slip past.
That time is better invested elsewhere, even though I already have a diamond SE Ibex.
