Turkeys can be more cautious than deer and are way smarter than a duck or goose. They have keen eyesight, excellent hearing, and a good sense of smell so be mindful of those things when you choose a location to set your stuff up. In RL they frequently frustrate even experienced hunters. You have a mouth caller and a crow caller. Some days they'll come right in using a mouth caller and some days they come right in using the crow caller. No pattern to it that I've been able to discern so it won't hurt to try using both.
Not all need zones are visited each and every day. Turkeys may only hang out at a need zone for brief period of time rather than wander around in one throughout the entire time frame posted. As with all the other animals in this game, timing is everything.
