Apex Account

So - i went to https://avalanchestudios.com/stories/apex-connect

Signed up, logged into the game, and when you get in game, it will pop up and ask you "Create an apex account to get rewards!"

But ive already created an account, and for some reason you guys didnt add "Already have an account?"

So now, you cant get passed the screen without MAKING an account in game, even if you already just made one through the website?

What am missing?

Edit - Just reuse the same info in the game, and itll work!

I made an account on the site. same thing launched game wants to make account. I used same info I used on the site, and it worked. So just punch in all the same info you did on the site.

For me there were 3 options: sign in, create an account, skip.

Same thing here. tried to create account and tells me I already have one. I think this could be when I signed up for the hunt club (was a while back so I can't really be sure). But if that is the case why don't i get a sign in option when i launch game? The I went to https://apex-connect.avalanchestudios.com/ and in sign in I clicked on forgot password but have yet to received the reset password email.

Is an Apex Account required to play, or does it just give you special rewards for doing so?

Special rewards but also for future in-game events I believe. Also for crossplay with other platforms.

I created an account on the website first. Then, I was asked to create an account again after launching the game, without an option to login. I just re-entered my display name, email, and password. It went through and seem to work

You can skip the whole step on first start and select to never get asked again. If you want to have an account later you have to re enable it in the settings.

So no, it is not required to play and once you disable it you don't get bothered anymore.

I have account since i play at Generation Zero. And i can't create account in game coz "i have account, which registered at my e-mail and i need to try SING IN", but where?
No sign-in button in the game.
And no COTW at my AAC account on web page in 'YOUR GAMES'

If you create an Apex account you get the Ghillie suit. I've been hoping they would bring that back.

Plus, the Ghillie suit doesn't even reduce your visibility. It's just cosmetic.
