I dont taxidermize quest diamonds anyway because they are no challenge and are basically placed there for you to shoot, not exactly accomplishment.
If i remember rightly she says (not verbatim) if you decide not to take the photo that moose are classed the same as deer something something so she wouldn't blame you for taking the shot.If you take the pic the moose does a runner into the woods n that's that. Either way its a choice and you complete both objectives.
