2019 edition vs 2021 edition
Which one has better DLC if you just started playing this game with co-op with friends in mind? just wanted to relax and have fun... also which DLC is a must buy if any is missing from the either 19/21 edition? I plan to gift the game to my friends as well, do they need to own the DLC in order to play together with me? or should I just give the standard edition if it is not the case ?

thanks for the helps in advance

For beginners to start the game the "2019 edition" is more than enough for the first dozens of hours and also the cheapest bundle at the moment.

aight thanks i just read most of them, one last question that I couldn't find the answer is regarding weapon DLCs, while map dlcs can be played for free for the guest if the host own it, does it also work for weapons and accessories like night vision, etc? can they also use it if the host own it but they themselves don't?

You must own weapon DLCs to use them but they are just nice to have. Maps and ATVs can be used if just the host owns them.
