Load out Layton Lakes 2021?
What is a good loadout if i only want to rifles?
Im like just scouting need zones, putting out tents, blinds and so on.
But i do shoot some animals to lvl and get cash.

Im not in to mooze very much.
But M1 is my allround rifle, whit polymer tips.

But what rifle and ammotype for rabbits, cayotes and birds?

What is best time in general for discovering whit tail, drinkzones?

Here you can sort the weapon tables by columns: https://thehuntercotw.fandom.com/wiki/Weapons

Finding a need zone can be done at any time. It's when the animals are using them that varies. If it helps any, I'm seeing white tailed deer at need zones between 0700 and 0830hrs, 1900-2000 hrs and a few around 1400 hrs. On my map It depends upon where I am on the reserve. Best thing to do is find need zones on your own map and take it from there. .22 rifle for ducks and bunnies, .243 for coyotes and your M1 will be okay for Class IV-VIII animals. There are no Class 9 animals on the LL reserve so you'll have it all covered with this load out.

If you're not really into moose and bear, you can get by with the .22 rifle, .243, and M1.

Whitetails have two drink times that I know of. The main drink time is noon - 3pm. The other drink time is 5-7 am, but only maybe 10-20% of whitetail drink in the morning. I never hunt at night, so I don't know if they have a 3rd night time drink slot.

The 7mm is the most versatile gun in the game as far as integrity goes. It is rate from class 4 to 9. The 243 is rated from class 2 to 6. Carrying those two guns gives to good coverage. If you want integrity on class 1 animals, you would also need to carry the 22lr.

Concerning the best class 4-8 weapon, there are two fractions in this forum, the M1 group and the .303 group.
Punch is very similar, the .303 has better accuracy, the advantage of the M1 is the easy follow-up shots against herds with more targets. I am sticking with the M1.

I prefer the .303's higher accuracy and lower recoil, but the two rifles are so similar that I don't think it matters too much. Both are also compatible with all modern telescopic sights. It probably depends on which weapon you like better or which sounds better.
