Please tell me how to change the name of the hunting dog

No. They have confirmed in a stream one week ago that you get one chance to name the dog.

You can however, get a new dog with game money and give it a less stupid name.

Does anyone know if you can delete a dog?? Because even though I was super careful with name and gender, I somehow ended up with the wrong gender and now I have a female dog with a male name and I am super annoyed and feel like this really was a bad start for me.

There was supposed to be a Kennel where you could manage the dogs, but I'm wondering if its part of the hunting londge DLC?

Can't do anything in the kennel. Only put dog in a kennel or put as active. Kind of stupid and annoying since I wasted my free dog, haha.

In the codex it says there should be some options in the cache (the locker where you buy ammo) ?

I cant check because I haven't bought the dlc (waitng to read all the bug reports lol).

You can equip and unequip dogs in the kennel, but the unequipped ones will always stay in the kennel. No way to remove them.

Does anyone know if it is possible to reset a DLC? Uninstalling doesn't seem to work since it still saves everything. Maybe it is possible to delete some cache files or something. I really wanna fix this, haha. Especially since I'm pretty sure the developers won't. They haven't given us an option to delete other items in our inventory so why should we be able to delete a dog?

If you want delete ALL saved dogs in game
C:\Users\Your account name\Documents\Avalanche Studios\COTW\Saves\some big number\ find and delete file "thp_dog_profile_adf"

Yes. first dog will be for free
If you delete this file you reset (remove) ALL dogs. You can make backup if you not sure.
