Doc #6 Mission (shot 2 bears with a .270 rifle and a rapid score of 100)

I shot two male bears with the .270 Rifle and both rapid death score we're above 200 (248 and 224) what am i doing wrong ???

100% Quick kill is 250. Hit the heart, both lungs, the liver and one lung or, in this case only, hit 'em in the brain. They have to fall down dead within 6 seconds or you lose pts on the QK. Admittedly, it's a bit confusing since the mission says 100 but actually means 100%. Open the drop down box under "session score" on your harvest screen and you will see what you received under the QK score.

Thanks Striker, i'll go for the instant kill, it is in fact not well written in the Mission description.

Should always go for a quick kill no matter what.

It's an old thread but I find it impossible to drop a black bear with a .270.
Did you figure out how?

I can aim for the heart/lungs (heart is extremely difficult on a black bear) it will still run for a few seconds which doesn't trigger the quick kil bonus of 100.
