Which game version / Which dlcs for a new player?
Hello. I would like to ask community here for help. Should I buy:

1) Only the game with few dlcs (lets say the best 5 dlcs /most useful)
2) 2019 edition - 7dlcs
3) 2021 edition - 13dlcs

Thanks.

Their bundle politics is weird and also interesting.

2019 has 7 dlcs and 2021 edition has 13 dlcs but completely different dlcs. One would guess that the 2021 would contain everything from 2019 edition + something more (in this case it would be 6 more dlcs). But you can get pack A or B or buy everything in pack AB = complete edition.

So am I right if I understood it correctly what you said. The 2021 edition has better/more useful dlcs than the 2019 thats why I should buy 2021 + ATV dlc (which is btw in the 2019 colection)?

In my opinion yes, the only maps you will be missing is taiga and vurhonga. If i were you (I own nearly every DLC and played the game much) I would tell you to chose the 2021 Edition since you only miss out on 2 maps, Taiga is hard for beginners anyway but vurhonga I would buy separately since its the only map with Lions, except of that fact the 2021 edition give you all other maps plus the most worth packs of Weapons and stuff. Their DLC Politis suck ... but in my opinion with the 2021 edition since you dont own anything from the game yet you will get the best value of Money -> Content for your money. ATV (if you dont want to walk over the whole map to open the outposts etc.) + vurhonga must be purchased separately its the best deal if you dont want to buy the complete edition. the Point is with the 2021 edition if you want to buy the rest of worth you will only need to buy 2 maps, if you buy the 2019 edition you will need to buy 3 maps plus the (in my opinion) best DLC`s which add good stuff to the game separately, if you can afford the complete Edition you will have everything except the next map and following stuff which will come over time ...

Buy them all now. While they're on sale. $40 is dirt cheap for that much content

I do not have this game yet but i have looking around and if you think you gonna like this game then you should definitely buy "Call of the Wild™- Complete Collection" as i may do.

Just remember we have a lot of player who only own the main game and they are not happy because they can`t buy any bundle because they own the main game and that situation you wanna avoid.

Yes this game cost a lot of money but look at the pricediscount dude, with that i hope my answer help you out :)

It does not matter if you have the game or not when buying bundles. The bundle will become cheaper when you own something from that bundle. For example DIRT 2.0 I have dirt 4 and Dirt Rally and it says I can have it for 4,49€ 78 % off because I have 2/3 games. I dont think this game is any different when it comes to bundles.

And I wont buy everything into a game I dont have any experience with. Complete edition does not catch my eye at this moment.

Those people can`t buy that cheap big bundle because they own the main game and now those DLC they wanna have become much more expensive.

If you gonna buy this game then buy everything and do not do the same mistake as many other did in this game.

If you want to wait a year or two then ok for me.

This is not correct, the bundle has to have the "complete your collection" option in steam set up.

These bundles do not have that option.

If i were you I would probably go for the "2021 Edition" because you will own all Maps so far. Then you can also chose to buy one and another Weapon pack since I dont think you really need every DLC. The Content is just the maps, every paid DLC (except the ATV one) are optional in my opinion. If you got some friends playing this game you even dont need to own the DLC, since only the host need the Maps. Means you can join somebodys DLC Map without owning said map.

Cant Edit my Post so ... had a look at the 2021 Edition and can tell you that you will also own with the 2021 Edition atleast in MY Opinion all DLC which are worth buying to the maps. My advice is get this Edition and have alot of joy with the game.

Are they done adding content? I'm not going to buy the complete edition just for more DLC to be released next month.
Falcon Jun 19, 2021 @ 8:40pm
They realease new content about every 6 months and have for years. And yes there's a new map due to come out soon (possibly next month). Helps keep the game fresh and pay for continued support. It will probably be at least 6 months before you see that map as part of any bundle, and by then they'll be dropping another DLC
$2 Hero Jun 19, 2021 @ 9:46pm
Alright then I'll wait for the super duper complete edition then.
Falcon Jun 19, 2021 @ 9:56pm
LOL. See you in a few years
$2 Hero Jun 19, 2021 @ 10:34pm
LOL I'm sure Hunter 2 will be out by then.
Falcon Jun 19, 2021 @ 10:37pm
They've said they have no plans to make a sequel, but we'll see. Normal game cycle now is about 7 years, and it's been out since 2016
