That's great, thank you both. I didn't notice the treats in the store. That's just brilliant.
Hi! Thanks for this tip, as I am also struggling with this issue. Except I still cannot get it to work... I've seen my dog outlined in blue, but I haven't seen "Press B to communicate" come up. I can get the "wheel" options when I hold down B, but that's it... (speaking of which, I'm not positive the "Praise" option is working, either). Any ideas?
Edit: I should also mention that I can't equip the treats to my "quick access" items - am I supposed to be able to?
ty for info, it worked finally
The wolf howl command is an extension of the praise section of the wheel.
It would be nice if petting could be put in there too, and if you choose pet while the dog is idle, or away, he comes to you and the animation gets played.
The skeleton is there for all of this, the dog can already heel (come to the player), the interaction wheel already supports expanding options.
Edit:
The petting animation could also either run until bond/love is refilled completely, or fill it up with one session
(because otherwise, if you like the petting animation, for example, it will just roboticically start and end the animation 1-3 times, which is more silly than just having it loop/run until its full).
In fact, all interaction should refill the dogs love completely, and have the biscuits also refill focus instantly since they cost ingame currency and focus (at least in theory) is said to influence the actual tasks the dog does.
