Bighorn sheep scoring off?

I haven't seen anyone else mention this in any YouTube videos or seen it discussed but I notice it constantly. The bighorn sheep scoring seems messed up. Ive killed sheep that look totally different but score the same. I know the argument could be "mass" of the horns but they all look the same as far as mass goes. Im not talking about the small ones either or diamonds as those always seem big. But from score mid 120's - mid 155 it seems messed up. Basically the level 3's and 4's. Just today I killed a big one that only scored 135, yet the horns had full curl. They curled around past the eye, back to the rear of the animals and then the tip angled back toward the ground. So basically a full circle plus a third of a circle (damn near small diamond). Something you'd usually see on a ram scoring high 150's. Yet it only score 135. Then I killed one right after where the horns didn't even have a full curl. They basically formed a C with the tip of the horns under the eye. Yet it score 148.... how did it score higher than the one that basically looked like it had a small diamond rack with full curl plus more. And this isn't the only case of this happening. Ive killed many many many bighorn with different length of curl on the horns yet they score the same. A 135 can look bigger than 148. Ive had 120's look bigger than 140's... I don't get it. Am I missing something here. Why is this never mentioned by anyone else?

You will find the same thing with Becite Ibex. It's difficult to tell just how those 3s and 4s will score unless you have the perk/skill that allows you to get a TR when you put the spot on the animal. I pay more attention to the lower number of the TR than I do the higher number because they've inflated the high end of it on some animals to make it more difficult to identify a true trophy. The bottom line is that until a species falls under TruRac we have no way of knowing how the AI computes an animals score.

I have the perks that give the estimate. Im talking actual score after the kill. Sometimes smaller horns that don't even make a full curl score higher than horns that do. The actual scoring just doesn't make sense.

Thought about it but posting pics is a pain (I have a hard time even finding my screen shots on steam) so I haven't taken any. The jist of it though is that a 128 scoring ram can look bigger than a ram that scores 140's. Not all the time, but it happens often enough ive noticed it seems to be messed up a bit. Or you can have 2 rams with the same score with way different sized horns.
