Silver Ridge Peaks - Favorite Turkey Spots?

I grabbed this map the other night and have been having a good time hunting Turkey so far. I've mostly been making the walk up and down Bear Wallow Basin and trying to call them out with the crow caller, but the terrain is rough and the birds seem to be really spread out most of the time. It works well enough to get one to gobble/call, then setup and call them to me, but sometimes it's pretty tight and the ground cover can be so thick up there that I don't see them until they are on top of me.

I'd really like to hunt them a little more realistically, where I can setup at the edge of a pasture/open expanse along the woods and call them in all day, so I was wondering if anyone has any honeyholes they'd like to share for this style of hunt. I'm going to check out the Saguache Plains and the area surrounding Wild Turkey Outpost tonight to see if I can have a little more open experience. I'd love to see some flocks (haven't seen one yet) and I'd really like to see some Toms strut their way to me, which I can't do in thick forest.

If you guys have any spots in mind that fit the above, I'd really appreciate the help.

I have great luck with turkeys starting at the Uncompahgre Outpost in the Sun Sisters Region, it's located near the center of the map. South and Southeast of the lake the elevation changes dramatically, the turkeys work their way up or down the ridges depending. The trail also follows through the valley there. Also in the pine trees South of the lake, they will work their way Northeast up the ridge. Lots of mountain lions and tons of sheep also. Good Luck!

The southern part of the map is rich in Turkey. My first 5 males were all Gold! And when using the crow caller(?) twice I had the male fly to me I got him so worked up.
