You can walk/hiking around. Look for outposts and watchtowers. Get to point of interest, which tells you a bit about the area.
Well ...its a game.
These are obviously no real animals.
You should clearly seperate Real Hunting from A Videogame.
Whenever you shoot 1 Animal in the game there will be one animal that spawns on the map somewhere.
Thanks man.
not true, a loot of players just walk and take landscape and/or animals photos
People shoot back in COD.
Can I shoot him & put his head above the mantelpiece too?
I'm amused at how offended some are on here ha ha. Thanks for the insight.
That was my thought process. I like a lot of the scenic games, as they're uplifting environments to chill in. The hunting thing isn't my cup of tea, even virtually, but each to their own as they say, hence why I wondered if there was more to the game. All the best.
Then you should get the base game when it goes on sale (~5$) and the tents dlc so that you can resume traveling from your last position. Base game offers two large and excellent reserves for hiking, exploring them on foot takes dozens of hours. Weather is dynamic and you can hike any time of day/night. Also the sales price is very low so you can't go wrong even if you ditch the game quickly.
You do not have to hunt. The game has amazing visuals and you have a camera. I sometimes climb to the top of a mountain at sunrise to take panorama s with the camera. Sneaking up on animals to get close up photos is a lot of fun as well.
The points of interest have some interesting stories attached, so going to all of the POI could be fun.
Hunting it the main focus, but you could always hunt with your camera.
things that hunt you!
