Taxidermy too expensive
The cost to taxidermise an animal went up by up to x7?
The game demanded 7000 credits for a female moose!!

They already did raise the price as they mentioned it in stream that some one thought the prices were a bit low so they did already adjust prices once!

How much do you think it is for a full body taxi. on a moose? 7000 is about right. To be honest it's the only thing priced in this game correctly. $550 for a box of 20 bullets lol yeah right.

500? look at the bigger calibers. 1500 for 20.

some players still have lots of money from that one time it glitched, I remember a long time ago my 43K switched to 430,000

Wish mine would have glitched like that.

I like the prices, I haven't bought the DLC yet, but the prices force you to only taxidermy the best animals, unless of course you've got millions of credits, in that case go ham on taxidermy!

I've not purchased that DLC either...
have 6.3 mil. game coin, so plenty to spend... But I guess I don't find it appealing enough for me.

tho' I gotta say I feel the pricing seems fair. (it's just game coin anyways)

I don’t think it’s expensive at all. I’m a level 60 on console and level 30-something on PC. I own most of the weapons, and my money is just accumulating. I’m glad we finally have something to spend money on aside from ammunition. Trophy Lodges/taxidermy might be an end game pass time. It’s purpose is to give money purpose in the end. Maybe those who feel the prices are too high are newer players who just want to fill their lodges quickly. My advice is to wait until you catch up to the long term players before suggesting changes to prices. The current prices are intended to balance out the extremely wealthy long term players.

What's the rush to fill the lodge up ? I think some people are in to much of a rush . For me my main aim is a nice pair of male bears (brown, black) to go at the bottom of my stairs . Take me a while to hunt them down and get what I want . Then maybe a room filled with bunnies and a nice red fox in amoungst them . Just take your time and enjoy the game leisurely. That's why I love the game , theirs no rush for anything

All talk of using cheat engines removed. Please don't discuss such things. Thanks.

Considering you could make tons of money in single player hunting geese I would say the prices are fair. Just don't do what I did when hunting them and let the bodies pile up to collect them all when you run out of shotgun ammo. I had about 20+ geese bodies in the field I was hunting on and kept hunting more, but it got to a point where I shot one more goose and my game crashed.

So pick up all your harvests as you get them to keep yourself from losing all the xp and money as I did.

I was thinking of collecting elk bulls with different antler variations. So many people argue they are all the same. This would be an excellent way to provide visual proof that there is variation.

2x2
3x3
4x4
5x5
6x6
7x7

I’ve seen them all. I’m sure this goes for all species too.

I started to mind taxidermy cost after realizing I can save only 10 animals for future taxidermy. Since I am replaying the game from scratch, it is significant additional money grind

so what? it is so easy to earn money in this game. i drown in money, and have nothing else to spend it on.
if you have not that much, tax only the great stuff. you make way more money in one session than 7k.

I'm level 60, for the fourth time and have well over a million credits.
As Pic says, money is no object at later levels.

If you are struggling, just hunt ducks, you can rake the money in really fast :)

Good luck and good hunting :)
