What happens if you run out of money and ammo?
See title. I didn't realize mounting my stuff in my lodge would cost so much.

Use the Ranger .243 rifle. The Soft-Point ammo is free.

You always have a free rifle and free ammo (.243). Make more money.

You'll have to use the .243 and its free ammo until you work your way back up. That's basically the emergency fallback in case someone uses their money too fast.

Once you get to the point of being able to make 10 or 15 or so kills an hour, you'll really never be at risk of being in this situation. It just takes practice and some levels.

10 or 15 kills in an hour? I rarely see that many animals in an hour and getting that many would be nearly impossible.

I just followed a herd of Bison around pegged from a distance. Took down 8 in about 20 mins. So it could be possible, but you would need to be lucky for 15, right place right herd and it would not happen often, at least with the amount of spawns I get anyway.

You revert from being a hunter, to being a professional shooter, as in hunting for pet food. You aren't after trophies, you are farming for coin.
You'll just get back to .243 softpoints. A rifle is already purchased at startup and ammo for it is free. You cannot sell any of your already bought equipment atm

Man, on a good day I have had as many as 25 Male Trophies in an hour. It can be done, just only on certain maps.

Also Maroliver... Free means doesn't cost any Money. And you already own the .243. So go to the store and claim your free .243 soft point ammo for the free gun you started the game with. Afterwards, load the ammo into your rifle, then find an animal, right click your mouse, put the animal in the center of your scope (adjust to taste) then press the left mouse button.

If you followed those steps, you are well on your way to success.

P.S. DON'T FORGET TO WALK AROUND TO FIND ANIMALS.

That figure is not authentic. If you are playing game for long and have enough zones then 10 to 15 kills per hour is possible.
For new / relatively early players I would say average kill rate is about 3 to 5 if you are not shooting everything you see.
So you will make @3000 in game currency / hr.
