CANNOT purchase "complete collection"
After trying to get a refund for the base game (because having no transportation is B.S.) and failing because I have more than 2 hours played I opted to remove the game without a refund. I still cannot buy the complete collection. Yes i un-istalled my game as well as removing it from steam without a refund in the steam support options. Anyone else experience this? Any help would be great! What a nightmare! TIA

just keep the base game and buy the pack?

i did this way for borderlands and other games.

if i like the game i then buy the pack aka the pack already removes the base game so you legit just pay for the other things in the pack.

other than that idk, tbh you should of bought the complete collection.

i never buy the base game of games anymore, i always buy the highest tier aka like deluxe or gold versions cause they have the dlcs and content so you get more value out of the games.

buying the base game is a waste of money cause evently you will buy the dlcs out of boredom.

for example ac origins and rement of the ashes, peopel always gonna buy the dlcs, but if you don't own the base yet you should buy the all in 1 deal.

but ya hope everything works out and you get the refund and can buy the bundle, if not then lession learned just buy the bundles.

everyone buys the bundles cause well its on sale anyways so you got nothing to lose.

I regret not buying the complete collection! I try to buy the complete collection now, I figured with the sale $6 is whatever for the base game, so no huge loss. However I cannot buy the complete collection for myself and can only gift it.

I figured if i liked the game it was worth the $6 i lost form buying the base game, however as you can tell that is not the case. I can't even purchase any collections and have to buy all DLC separately.

Steam has been no help. I sent an email to the game tech support. Will see what they say.

reply if you have any luck because I'm on the same situation here: I want to buy the complete collection and I can't because I own the base game

All my work paid off. After being refused a refund 3 times, i contacted the Steam general/acccount support. I am pleased with the outcome and was able to now purchase the entire product.

HERE IS WHAT I SENT:

"I purchased The Hunter Call of the Wild and unfortunately you guys will not refund my purchase due to having more than 2 hours on the game. I am a bit disappointed since you guys are usually a little flexible with this, and the game purchased was deceiving to show DLC content in the pictures of the base game, ultimately being misleading.

However all this aside, I still cannot purchase the Complete edition of this game even after permanently removing the game from steam library for myself and uninstalling it. All i get is a purchase as a gift option. I would like to purchase the complete collection for myself. This is a nightmare since Steam has refused to refund me, and permanently removing the game have had no affect on letting me purchase the complete collection for the game. I am asking you to please help fix this in some way so I can purchase the complete collection for myself. Thank you!"

Respectfully,
Nick"

AND STEAMS RESPONSE:

"Hey Nick,

Thanks for reaching out.

As a customer service gesture, I've issued a refund for theHunter: Call of the Wild™ to your Steam Wallet. You can now use the funds to purchase the Complete Edition.

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thanks for using Steam,
Seto"

Congrats mate! I didn't try to refund/remove from my library since this was the first time I had trouble to purchase "complete editions" for a game I already own. I really don't know what to do in this case, so I'm probably skipping buying it or gonna purchase individual dlc's instead of the pack.

Anyway, thanks for the replies! Have a great day there.
