IMO Yukon is worth it.
This pack comes with one of the better guns in the game. The .300 magnum. Arguably the best actually. Plus you get a beautiful map with a nice array of species (Moose, Bears, Caribou, Wolves, Bison, etc) to hunt. I mean we're talking a few dollars right now with the sale so... now is the time to buy any DLC you want.
Savanna (Africa) is pretty cool but the animals only render out to a certain distance so it's not like you think seeing a bunch of wildebeests running across the grass or lions stalking giraffes and elephants/rhinos stomping about. Still very good ambiance and different feel than all the other maps because Africa is Africa.
You can pass on most weapon packs I'de say. .243 is not the greatest but when you get the rifle score to get the .300 magnum you won't be using much of anything else. If you want the M1 Garand with the 30-06 ammo that is a step up from the .243 and is semi auto. Nice hunting rifle until you get to the .300. That comes in the smoking gun pack.
I do really like the high tech weapons pack. Night vision rangefinder is OP. Also get a night vision scope. For those two things alone i think that pack has some value. Night hunting is kinda fun in this game. And certain species come out at night predominantly.
I would skip the four wheelers because they are only good for unlocking the outposts not good for actually hunting because they scare animals away from like 1,000m out. Just go on foot.
I would get the tents though. They are placeable/removable outposts you get 5 for free and can buy more. Set them anywhere you like to have a fast travel point. That's how I've been unlocking the outposts, friends place tents down on the ones they already have and I go there. Just make sure you pick your tent back up because they stay on the world.
The tree stands, tripod stand, and blinds are all nice if you actually ambush hunt. If you dont use calls though they can give you a nice line of sight but I find a lot of players just walk and walk and walk and don't actually play an ambush style so maybe not worth it to get them if you don't like to play that way.
Otherwise all the maps you can just join a multiplayer session to play. You won't get to experience the stories/missions but you can hunt.
Medved-Taiga: My favorite map. Wintery forests. Some nice arctic expanses though too. No Siberian Tigers but you got Moose and other various deer species. Also Bear and the Lynx for small game. The story I've been enjoying too.
Vurhonga Savanna: As I said before it's Africa so that alone sets it apart from basically all the other maps. All different species. Springbrok leaping and pronking about (I had one hop into me on a fourwheeler and knock me out good times), the Lesser Kudu and Gembok deer species, Wildebeest and Cape Buffalo, Warthogs, Jackals, and Hare for small game, and of course Lions. I always go back to this map.
Parque Fernando: The puma's are pretty cool and scary to hear warning calls while your hunting big bucks.
Yukon Valley: See above.
Cuatro Colinas: Spain. Pretty landscape. Very hilly/cliffsides though. Rams and goats mostly but fun to hunt something different every now and again. Also you don't necessarily need end game guns to have success here.
Silver Ridge Peaks: Turkeys. Rocky Mountains. The newest pack. I haven't played this one much but it seems to be good.
In Hirschfelden, you can kill every animal except European Bison (and rabbit if you can find them) with the starting .243 for full integrity.
The codex has tons of great info, but this can also be useful at a quick glance to figure out what to use for a particular animal:
