Restart Mission

Hello,

im at Mission Bandari 8 where i must kill a wounded Wisent with a Pistol. I killed him with a Gun.
What i can do now? How i can Reset that Mission so that i can kill him with a Pistol?

You cannot reset missions.

Autobot might be correct, however I remember the mission in Medved where you have to kill the wounded reindeer. If you spook him and he runs out of the mission area before you get him, you can fast travel somewhere, walk back to Gunther's camp, and the reindeer will be there again. Granted, I didn't kill him though like your problem is.

Maybe this would work for you, because yes, there is no actual way to reset your missions.

You could start a new game. That's one way to get all your missions (on all your maps) reset.

You could delete the "Missions" file which would also wipe out all you previous mission accomplishments on all maps.

You could try running the local file verification program and disconnecting from Steam Sync Cloud before you log back into the game. I'm assuming that the mission is still showing as active on your Hunters Mate. (This is just a WAG on my part so take it for what it's worth).

If none of those possible solutions appeals to you then I believe you are at an impasse. That sucks.

I think the animal will regenerate after awhile.

Could come back...never say never in this game. There was a similar problem with the black wolf mission in CC when players killed but their game would crash before they could harvest it or where they'd only wound it and it would not respawn. The devs listed it as one of the fixes they'd made on their patch notes.

Finaly i can done it. I go Back to the main Menu and after Back ingame the Blood is there again and the Bison is under the Bridge. This time i can Kill him easy and fast and the Mission is done now.

Yea, besides SRP missions I have not come across any other missions in different reserves that can lock you out.
