Way to know if you killed an animal?
So I like to test myself with seeing how far I can shoot and kill animals but sometimes I have the problem with not finding the bloodstain marks (assuming I hit him),and I can rarely find a body. Question is, is there a way to know if you've killed an animal without seeing the body or without seeing the vital organ hit marker?

Marcosian is right.

I only add that on long distance shots the hunting pressure may not appear on your map. This is esp true if the animal runs off beyond rendering distance (approx 430 meters) before it's demise. All you can do is head towards where the animal was when you hit it. For me I usually have to be within 200 meters of the hit spot before the hunting pressure shows up on the map.

The best way to handle those long range shots is to put the spot on the animal and then drop your way point marker on the spot that shows up on your map before you make the shot. This will put you within 20 or so meters of where the animal was when you hit it. If the animal is still illuminated by the spot when you shoot it, the spot on your map will actually move along with the animal until either the illumination expires or the animal dies (whichever comes first). This will shorten the time you spend following the blood trail.

This is also a viable method for rangefinding until you unlock the rangefinder, for the very new players like me a week ago :cozyhitman2:

You too can wait until the shot animal is dead. If you are shooting well, it does not last a long time. Then you can go to the center of the purple aera and look for the Shot spot. From there normally you can follow the blood trails.
Always try to watch into which direction the shot animal runs off. So the search most of the time is much easier.
