Visit an outpost (or tent if you have the DLC) and "rest" in the bed/tent.

you have to change the time when you rest.

In the game night begins at 7 pm. Day begins at 0500. Otherwise just start playing after 10 pm in RL and it will be dawn before you know it. lol

To be more specific: Got to the bed in outpost or the sleeping bag in the tent and interact (action key). Doing this an alarm clock pops up where you can enter the time you want to wake up.
