Red deer screaming like elks

I went for a hunt on the new reserve and noticed that the red deers screaming. They sound a lot like screaming elks. I am pretty sure red deers has more of a roar to its sound.

I beg to differ. Called a 7 hard Red in last night and he made the call of a male elk's bugle. A tiny oversight that will be correct quickly I'm sure.

they are Red Deer i've tracked them down and watched them scream. Red Deer bulls sound like elk on the new map.

Yeah I heard the same elk like screaming from definite a red deer in new map. Red deer in Hirschfelden roars, not screams.

I've heard this too but it's not the same sound effect as the male or female elk in the game to me. It's some sort of elk sound variation combined with a deer grunt, from what I've heard.

It's possible when the devs implemented red deer in Patagonia they tried to make them slightly different but instead of limiting it to that region specifically, they ended up changing ALL red deer in the game by accident.
