Heart Shot, But It Was Not A Heart Shot

Shot a Moose in the heart from frontal angle ... or atleast I thought I did.

He ran and I tracked him.

When I collected him and I watched hes anatomy for the shot, it shows I hit Stomach. But when you turn the camera angle it shows the trace went through the heart, between the lungs and into the intestines ... all within a straight trajectory within 60m using a 30.06 Polly Tip.

That arrow is known to be highly inaccurate. I've killed animals and had that arrow on the harvest screen show I'd missed the animal entirely. It's possible to hit high and just above the the heart, between the lungs and into the stomach on those head on shots. Actually a bit lucky to penetrate that far in my experience. POA is right at the very bottom of the chest for a head on heart shot. If your POA is even 2-3" higher you can miss the heart.

This game is surprisingly buggy considering it has been out for years now, and how much DLC is out. Weird stuff like that is just going to happen.
