Second problem about Alexander Longbow

The problem is 350 gr arrow penetration too low, you cant hunt anything properly exept birds with this arrow type. I try to get good proof:

by the way first problem is longbow shots scare animals 200 meters away and it's fixed on TruAxis update.

I agree with both of your points.

I´m doing archery my whole life and I know from that distance the arrow should rather pass through especially on such tiny target. I´ve seen arrows completely pass through boars.

Though I have to admit those arrows were shot from a compound bow that has almost double the fps, but still a longbow shouldn´t be underestimated and should be more than enough to pierce right through a fox from that distance.

Thank you for your opinions, good to hear from real archer. I also know same lb compound bow arrows travel faster than traditional bow arrows because of technology of compound bows.

I´m more a target shooter, since the laws in germany are very strict and bowhunting is not allowed, which is also why I have sold my compound bow again, because it was just too insane.
It was a pse lightning and it was good in destroying arrows or throwing them so far that you never find those arrows again lol.

I only shoot traditional bows these days because I grew to love the instinctive shooting without any aim assistance.

The reason I know why bows are so strong is because I have watched some bowhunters from the us who were hunting boars and even bears and due to them using these led nocks you could easily see how the arrows just punched trough the boars.

Quite scary how strong bows and crossbows can be on short distances tbh.

I m little envy you :) ı always want a good long or recurve bow for target shooting but never have one because its so expensive in my country instead ı buy shotgun :D and ı m speargunner kind a underwater archery :)) What you say about power of bows already in game 70lb hawkedge compound bow has incredible penetration, no need to speak crosbows as they are made for pierce trough metal armor.

When it comes to compound bows in this game I prefer the Bearclaw Lite CB 60.

The 60 pounds are more than enough especially when you take those perks that let you overdraw, which is of course silly, because this would never be possible with a compound bow, but in the game it works well. It also has a much better accuracy.

Thanks for posting the proof, VulDrog.
They better fix this mess and this bow's ridiculously large spook radius.

I suspect what happened is they gave this longbow project to an intern or new hire who didn't know what they were doing and nobody in QC payed much attention when checking their work. Only reasonable explanation I can come up with for such blatant bugs.

Have you tested if this problem also occurs with the traditional recurvebow?

I don´t have any experience with it, but I want to try it today and hence I´m curious.
