Sommer #9 ground blind question
This mission requires you to harvest 3 roe deer at night from inside the ground blind at the Petershain cornfields. I have harvested 1 so far but there have never been any others around for a few nights now.

There are some within the cornfields area but too far away from the ground blind.

Would the mission be a success if you use the DLC ground blinds somewhere within the marked area?

I am also working on this mission. I got 2 roe deer in consecutive nights. I go into my blind at about 3:00 AM. Also got four fallow bucks. Then on nights three and four nothing. I will wait for the purple on the map to change back to normal, and then repeat the process. also, I use the roe deer called every 30 seconds.

I got the first two fairly easily, but the third one was hard, because the deer kept calling on the field behind the ground blind and wouldn't come into view. So I set up a portable ground blind behind the fixed one, so that it had view to the other field. Took a couple of tries (as I don't stay for hours, if nothing seems to be happening), but then I heard yet another call from the wrong direction as I was in the fixed blind, moved to the portable one, and called the deer close enough.

use the roe deer caller, it also helps to have the skill to have a higher chance of it coming to you with callers

I just finished this mission. Got the final doe deer at 3:02 AM. This mission is hard, because you only have one blind to choose from. The keys to this mission are:
1.) Get to the blind just before 3:00 AM. Nothing occurs before this hour.
2.) Apply ROE DEER SCENT 100 meters before you get to the blind.
3.) Call every 30 seconds or so on the Roe Deer Caller.
4.) If this region on the map turns deep purple or pink, work on other missions until it changes to grey or clear.

This mission took way to long to complete. I sat in the premade blind for days with no luck. There are tons of hogs, but no roe deer.

After doing a bit of recon, I did the following to complete the mission.

Place a DLC ground blind at -6138, 9363 with the exit of the blind facing the large rock. Place a tent nearby and sleep to 21:00. Wake up and start honking the roe deer call and spraying roe deer scent.

Roe deer will come running from all directions. I place the door facing the rock because that is the only side that they don't coming running from.

Within 10 minutes, I completed the mission. Afterward, I went back to the premade blind to mow down all of those hogs.

Missions like these are such a turn off.

Been spending the whole night time there. 3 blinds set up on north ends of the fields.
Masked scent, only sneaking between 3 posts. Not a single deer in that area. Just one fallow deer and a fox.

Checked all fields for missed traces in the morning. Nothing. No mating calls, no warning calls.

If you make missions, make sure the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ target animal shows in that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ zone.

Ok, the quest is completely broken for me. After 3 nights of hanging out in the quest zone and checking animal footprints at 5 am I can confirm a red fox hanging out there, quite a few fellow deer and even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ european bison walking around there.

BUT. NOT. A. SINGLE.ROE DEER!

How the hell am I supposed to finish the quest if the quest animal does not appear there? Killing 3 of a species that does not show and wasting hours of time is not fun.

Tips?

If things don't work out , do something else for a few days . I can confirm there are roe deer there , 100% . Don't focus on this mission to much , it will drive you nuts. As a experienced hunter all i can say it , patience , lures , scents , and blind dlc helps hella lot !
But dont forget these are hard missions for a reason.
walk/run/drive around the area in different times till you get some Need zones, time aint to importen. You can do this while doing other missions or before you log off.

Then when you got some and wanna complete the mission there will be a bigger chance of deers roaming around the area.

Remember Roe deers are quite dumb they are easy to lure into position you can also use this to your advance.

(ps had to start on new safe) all this tent and hunt in specific areas missions are quite easy when you first understand need zones.
Hunt for need zones, not animals.

With 2 Portable Ground Blinds (DLC) i managed to do this mission between 9pm and 0:00am in one single night, you need to be using the Roe Deer call every 30 seconds.
Below is the placement of my Portable Ground Blinds:
-6148.896, 9414.712
-5719.146, 9203.780
