How to scare away lions? avoiding confrontaion
hey all i've a new topic thats been on my mind for a while here goes.. since my family started sponsering lions via the WWF its become moraly wrong for myself to hunt them and have taken to learning how possable to hunt in africa and still avoid a confrontain where i would be forced to shoot one, this is not about them being huntables, just a personal prefrence..

anyway haven failed a couple of times to frighten them off with my usual wolf and bear tactics, "sometimes even males will stand their ground to a Noisey quadbike which is awkward ofc.." i've decided to ask here among the other players if they've managed to devlope ways around lion confrontaion or better yet frighten the lions away when they get dangerously close or are between you and your downed animal "which has become a problem for me so far"

If anyone here has ideas, fellow nerd theroys or game facts that can be used to evade or drive lions away i'm more them eger to hear them and i bet a few others here will find the help welcome too, so..... who here has experience to share? :D

fire in the air... the noise alone can make them do a 180. When one charges me I fire away when hes nearby.

They are still animals. Nicely timed loud noises do it.

Soooooo...it's morally wrong to press a mouse button and watch a computer algorithm manipulate a graphical representation of computer generated wildlife?

Dude...it's a game.

Seems that some people have really hard time separating the reality and simulation.

The devs said there is a way to do that try the X key and see if that works.
PS you can play the game any way you want too.

purdy sure some lions, wolves and puma will track and kill you. Lol

well thanks to some of the advice here i had some success, when reaching a waterhole and setting up my tripod, i noticed two males at the lake side, not wanting to risk them when gathering animial kills, i tryed out the advice so far, the first lion bolted after i gave a few whistles which was great, but the second was drinking and refused to leave or even be spooked, so i cracked of a shot or two at the ground near him, ofc he became aggitated but would quickly relax and contine drinking, i tryed open shots into the air with my Rhino pistol and more whistles , but he still wouldn't leave despite been nervois, and it was only after i had downed a number of antilope from my stand, that he desided he'd had enough and left, but it seemed only after he was done drinking that he was spookable, which is weird, but at least i know it works to a lesser or moderate effect, but if i wasnt on the tripod would he have responeded diffrently?

Dude. If we go by that standard I could easily suggest highly questionable stuff that aint done for obvious reasons. Actual reality is that people have different ideas on what is acceptable and what is not. The format dosen't matter in the slightest. Im actually amazed that the best reasoning to laugh at OP ever dosen't even hold up to that standard in the slightest.
