Do animal numbers regenerate over time?
All the areas that have turned pink, will they grow back in numbers? how long does it take, like can I just sleep ingame to make it happen quicker?

For every kill you make, you will notice the oldest pink areas fade and eventually dissapear entirely. So you can not sleep the pink away :-) You can kill them away again, if you do it someplace else for a while. The pink area does not tell you anything about numbers of animals.

The animals you kill will regenerate over time. How fast I do not know.

Animals will also avoid entering the bright pink areas.

Sleeping will not help. Animals re-spawn but not necessarily will you get the replacements equal what you killed in terms of level, difficulty or even gender and I have no idea where on the map those replacement animals will respawn or even if they will be of the same species. The only ways to relieve hunting pressure on your map is to hunt for like 72hrs in game (sleeping does not count) or to go kill animals in another area on the map. BTW the animals do not necessarily leave an area once it turns pink from hunting pressure. I've harvested many animals right in those zones. DK if an area has to be clear before the respawn can happen or not. Hope this helps.

Actually, hunting pressure is supposed to go away with time by itself, but the process appears to be so slow that hunting in other areas is much faster way to remove hunting pressure in certain area

Depends on how many animals you kill in the same place. And no, time dosnt do anything with hunting pressure. only thing that makes hunting pressure go away is to go somewhere else and kill animals.
