Agressive animals...cute
Well, my thoughts after I fought my second time against a pack of wolfs

Lions: aaw, cute, come here kitty :3
Bears: You are ma new teddy bear...cosy :3
Buffalo: I am matador el hunterrrrr ...olé !

A pack of wolfs: Oh ♥♥♥♥...wrong neighborhood (you died)
A pack of wolfs at night: F*ck, I pissed my pants (you died)

I wish all agressive animals could be like wolfs

I view wolves as challenging money, and then I load my M1 with malicious intent and get to committing war crimes

You listed mainly non aggressive animals.()
Even the wolves are mainly non aggressive.

So everything is ok. Except wolves could be less aggressive:-)
Just as in real life.

There are a lot of games with aggressive animals. So if CotW is too boring for you, you will find more thrill in the steam store .

They are non aggressive? Since they are hunting (hunting call) I thought they're aggressive.

I hope the Dev's don't listen to the whiners again and nerf the wolves in CC.

This should be clarified these are CC wolves. the Yukon wolves are worse than rabbits, they run away faster and never attack anymore. I've spent the last 3 weeks in Yukon trying to get a gold wolf and 3 more for the wolf and grizzly mission. Hunting them is a real challenge now that they run so quickly, i had to snipe the gold one at 183m away.

Maybe they're jsut scared of me though, i must be l33t or whatever the kids say now :-P

you haven't played CC in a while then, the wolves there are aggressive. they ran 400m to kill me again after i respawned in the outpost. they're actually fun unlike the Yukon wolves.

Bear's aren't aggressive until you get too close, then it's a dice roll if they attack. Buffalo/Bison are aggressive. Stalking a moose on Yukon i stumbled into a resting zone of bison and became slime on the bottom of their hooves.

It happened on CC. I haven't played the map long enough to meet them, now I do missions and crossed path with them some times. I play on Schwarzwald most of the time.
Further more, from what you tell, it sounds like this game changed from a hunter simulation to a petting zoo.

that's a great way to put it, for the yukon wolves. if they stick around long enough to let you pet them. they see you at around 150m with the half closed eye on your visibility and they rocket off. If you're lucky you might even get a warning sound and visual.

I actually find it the other way around. I find the agressive wolves to be waaaay to easy to kill because it takes like 5 hits to kill you, and a health pack can be used instantly to get you back to full health.

Hunting wolves in CC has become beyond easy because all you have to do is jump around to get their aggro. When they are agressive they become super easy to dodge/outheal, and very easy targets for any unscoped rifle. Just shoot their Alpha last and use them as close range target practise. (Or stand in the water and see them form a nice neat line in front of you).

The wolves that scare easily seem much harder to kill as you are required to make long range shots (usually at night).

Yep the wolves are polar opposites in CC and Yukon. i've found new fun with the 10g and CC wolves :)

There's a fine balance yet to be struck in this game between an animal being too aggressive or too fraidy cat. I think the closest the devs have come to achieving that balance is with the African Lion in the Vurhonga Savanna reserve. Sometimes those lions kill me and sometimes they run away.

Yukon wolves do attack. About 3 days ago, there was a pack of 8 at a drink zone. I shot a gold one at about 120 m, & a low level female came charging straight to me. It took 2 shots to put her down. Then, the rest of the pack wanted to get in on the fun & started the "try to surround me" tactic. I ran as fast as I could about 100 m until l was knee-deep in the lake. Used a FA kit & a reload for the M1 to get out of there alive.

That being said, I don't care for aggressive animals in general. I know a lot of you want "please kill us more" in this game, but I do not.
tc04 Jul 6, 2020 @ 2:26pm
Me too
Don’t need „please kill us more“
tc04 Jul 6, 2020 @ 2:31pm
Wolves on Cuatro Colina weren’t that aggressive.
when I played 2 weeks ago.

Had 3 solo wolves running from left to right 20 meters in front of me, didn’t care of me or they were afraid as it should be in my Opinion.
Then I had a pack 100 meters away which I shot two of them and they ran away.

It is ok like that.
Don’t wanna get hunted by wolves all the time.... if it happens ok then... but most of the time they should be afraid of the hunter as in real life.

I am totally done with Quatro, I shot A mule deer and then was attacked by water buffalo. I did not know that they hunt in packs as 3 of them came at me but from 3 sides, did not stand a chance. That does not happen in real life, sorry I purchased that map, oh well work on the other maps now.

how so doesn't it happen? buffalo/bison are exactly like that, something attacks one, they all jump in to defend that one.

Ecy, Cuatro is the Spanish map with Ibex, Parque is the hunting park from hell which holds the murder buffalo.
