Id like to see the African map extended, theres plenty of room to grow there with all the big guys to hunt, endangered or not, we are only clicking pixels.
If a map was to be created. Without me doing any real homework, Id like to see something real different like the arctic circle, other wise they just become same old thing.
I know each map has a limit of animals but each map also have large empty areas that could home a few different species or just reduce some numbers of animal we have now.
I dont think we need any more fire arms dlc, just a tweak on what weve got.
Vurhonga, Quatro Colinas, and Silver Ridge have 9.
Layton and Fernando have 8.
Hirschfelden and Yukon have 7
Medved has a measly 6.
Given they have goat models to work with now, I'm doubling down on the request of Siberian Ibex being added to Medved. Even something small like a form of local snow hares (something for the Lynx to snack on) could be an easy addition that'd breathe some more life into the reserve. But hey, could just be me. I'm one of the few that have been fairly vocal about giving Medved some more love.
I've also spent hundreds of hours in this game, but haven't even tried all reserves and certainly haven't explored the ones I've been hunting on completely.
I also think many of the new reserves lack quality and detail and I would much rather have them improve the existing ones than release a new one every half year. Layton Lake and Hirschfelden are incredibly detailed and just beautiful, but some newer ones like Cuatro Colinas or Parque Fernando really feel like they were rushed.
I would certainly pay money for a DLC that just adds animal diversity to existing reserves!
I think more animals would absolutely increase the quality of the game. I don't really understand these comments about "it's going to be harder to find Moose if they add more animals". So what; if you go out there IRL it's gonna take you days to see one. I'd rather see 5 different animals of all sizes when walking around in LL, than have the fifth female Moose running by me within half an hour.
And like it was pointed out, some reserves like Medved Taiga for sure need some more variety. 6 animals is really measly.
Another thing for Devs to maybe consider is introducing smaller rodents and more birds. Birds of all sizes and shapes would be great to hunt, as long as they increase the population thoughout the map so no other animal gets cut.
On Layton Lakes for instance, what if they removed 5 or so female moose, and put spread 5 cougars around the map. Or replace 2 or 3 black bears with grizzlys. That would barely impact the population you're used to, but make it more fun knowing what you could possibly find.
I'd rather see new content with clothes and gadgets and whatnot, a revamp on the inventory, skill updates, etc. before we get more maps
It would be great to have some more smaller animals. I would also like to see some more ducks, both in the reserves that currently have none, bot also maybe a second duck species or so in the ones that already have them. That would definitely not affect the game in any negative way, but just improve the immersion factor of the game.
I also like bird hunting & would support pheasant, grouse, quail, etc. Don't want/need anymore ducks as they are already on 3 maps. Feel the same way about rabbits, 3 maps is plenty.
And at some point we will have too many maps. It sort of feels like that now. But I would not deny the the folks from down under their Australia map.
That's awesome and The idea of possibly seeing something very rare would be exciting!
don't think anyone likes a pop reset on their maps they've spent countless hours discovering zones and culling the herds, etc.
