Getting tired of Puma's "GROWL-CLUCK" 's.

The Puma must be the in game 'noisiest' animal.

Constant "GROWLS" or "GROWL-CLUCKS". Get's on my nerves. I was double glad that the above was finally dead. Glad that it was a diamond, and glad to be rid of the GROWLS :-)

Should the Puma be tuned down a little? I wish so.

If this is how the Puma is in real life, then, (sigh!), I can accept. But I wish it was less constant.

The "clucks" are ambient noise, not the puma. It sounds like a really deep mating call from a toad but I'm not sure. The puma does make a lot of noise though.

I guess you are right.

The "Growl-Clucks" are ambient Puma sou... NOISE that plays A LOT when a puma is in the area.

I wish they would skip the Puma ambient noise and just stick with the much less often heard Puma "call" sound.

Do the Pumas move/ come closer? When they are in the area, growling, they do not come closer and are usually hidden in the bush, staying there.

I havent tried to hunt them specifically in the three times I killed them. In my case, they were more opportunistic than deterministic hunts for them.

They are extremely wary animals. If they know you are there, they hold back and aren't as skittish as lynx on Medveg Taiga. If you rush in after them, they run super fast and may trample you but I dont think they are aggressively out to kill you off like a lion when provoked. Others have said it happened that way. I remain unconvinced.

Maybe someone can explain better their experience hunting them. They basically came across as less skittish oversized lynx to me, rather than a smaller lion in terms of attitude.
