Shooting range uses up ammo now
Also, no matter what it says in the HUD, you need to reload when the clip is empty.

I thought that bug had been sorted?
It had been in the beta........

I can confirm that the shooting range does use ammo (I just lost 4 rounds of 30-06).

It uses the ammo from your inventory so it does cost money.

Just use the .243 rifle and soft point .243 ammo then for range practice, its still free to buy

That was snuck in very quietly wasn't it....

Makes sense now, nothing is free.
It will cost a pretty penny with some rifles, better get good fast.😄

yeah but they dont make any money from us, we just lose it from inventory. its not like we can buy it from them to replace it. it doesnt make sense, i think its another bug myself.

i stopped using the ranges anyways because every other week they change the stats and mechanics anyway and, just like this ammo glitch, u never know when things have changed.

Not much sense in ranging a weapon if you cant count on it remaining true.

u realize that each weapon has its own mechanics right? practicing with the 243 aint gonna help you with the 300.

or at least they are supposed to have their own mechanics, seeems they can change at any given time anyways.

They already know about this bug.

confirmed, tested 4 rifles, .243, .270, M1, and .300, shows infinity for ammo but you have to reload when the mag is empty, which makes sense, this isn't Miami Vice. and it does remove ammo from your inventory.

just looked at patch notes. they didn't fix this, they fixed the single shot rifle issue, nothing about using our ammo

🐞Fixed single-shot rifles that didn’t work after using shooting range

And they did fix this, at least for me, i just tried the 7mm and it works fine.

Tbh right now I would cut them some slack because of Corona. If there is a time when such bugs can be excused it is now, when people work from home and must rely on everything fitting together to the T.

i dont mind getting treated like a beta tester like no man's sky does due to lack of a testing team in their company. but at least that game gives 100% free content updates in return. here, we pay to beta test new content

Assuming they're working at home.

Studies show when people are working at home like this, they do 35 to 45% more work as they don't take lunches, or breaks, they work later, and often check back and do things after hours, when normally you'd be at home without your work. I have to force myself to turn off my system and walk away at lunch and at 5pm. else i sit here till 6 or 7 finishing stuff up.

if you go by statistics we should be getting more patches and DLC content. granted they may be short on people if some are out sick.
