Number of diamonds per reserve - your guess?

My feeling tells me that there are only diamonds for some species on a map whereas diamonds of other species won't spawn until "old" diamonds are harvested, i.e. the number of diamonds is stable and lower than the number of species.

Hence, my guess would be approx. 3-5 diamonds per map. What is your impression about the number of diamond animals?

I dont know how much Diamonds can be in a Map at once but im sure that they are not always there if you login i have often seen that the Diamond ( or better the possible Diamond) just spawned because i killed a large amound of lower Males ( in most cases) just before.
But i guess with the new scoring system the Diamond will only be rolled after you have shoot.

i would say there isnt any diamonds on a map only if a animal is shot then maybe the respawn loads a diamond..i have never seen a diamond only time is when you change the time back and makes new animals load into the game..why cost of rest goes up alot if you rest alot in hour..

The devs, in one of the question and answer forums, stated that at any given time there might only be a handful of diamonds on a map. Might be more or might be less (at one time or another) but based upon my experience that's about the right number. That does not mean a handful of each species by the way. Is it possible to have more than one bonafide diamond of the same species on the map at the same time? Yes, at least it used to be. It wasn't a common thing to run into but it's happened. Got no idea if that's still possible now that Scoring 2.0 has arrived. The only sure thing is that now that Scoring 2.0 has arrived we'll be seeing a lot more max level animals that are not diamonds than we used to. Prepare to be frustrated.

agreed can't finish last diamond in parque fernando, all the legendary red deer i kill miss like pts for diamond, fix your damn full of bugs game, this is not an ealry access

It took me from Oct to Feb just to see a 9-Legendary and I know where and when to find Red Deer.
