In this mission we're supposed to get female and male plain bison, 100% quick kill and 100% integrity. Can't complete it after many times with 600 grains, and 300 rifle (requirements met). Even after getting gold it still isn't registered. It doesn't specify an area, does it secretly want diamond? Any help or suggestions.

Quick kill only shows up under the "sessions score" at the bottom left of the harvest screen. A score of 250 in the QK is required. QK does not figure into the animals score so being a Gold doesn't mean you dropped the animal stone dead in less than 8 seconds. That's all I can think of as to why the mission isn't registering as completed.

You need double lungs or a heart shot if you want 100% QK on a bison.

When Yukon 1st came out, it was quite easy: a brain shot on a Level 3 bull and you'd be done. Now you have to drop them with a double lung within 8 seconds or a heart shot; a neck shot would also work.

I just finished this for the 2nd time (reset my character when TruScore came out), and it was a pain. I think I must have shot 5-7 Level 3s, and I hardly have bulls to begin with. Eventually I got one from about 15m with the King (nitro-express), and I am glad it is over. Now I have the Pepper mission where he wants a Gold, and I just don't have Level 4s on the map, so I am not sure how that will happen.

This one took me 3 days to complete. Got the female with a heart shot on the 1st day. Then, I could never find a male with a good heart shot opportunity as there are not many males on my map to begin with. It is like a 10 to 1 ratio of females to males. And they are always covered up & protected by the females. I heart shot 3 males who were charging me with their head down & could not pass the harvest check as the trophy organ got damaged.

Next up, I tried the 70 lb bow. DBL lung shots on the males never broke 90% QK. I have 2 points in pumping iron & was surprised by this.

3rd day I was tired of messing around with these beasts & broke out the 470. 1st DBL lung shot on a male & mission completed no problem.

I'm on this one right now and I have killed many bison with both lungs hit in one shot they didnt count, then i just shot one in the heart and that counted so for me it seems like that's what i takes

With the 470 and poly ammo a double lung shot is not that hard to accomplish.

I did double lung shot but they didnt count

I am not 100 % sure, but I don´t think you get the quick kill bonus automatically, just because of a double lung shot. But if you use the heaviest weapon in the game (470) and shoot broadside from 25-30 meters through both lungs, even the Bison drops within meters. At least I did the mission this way.

yeah sure i just got my second bison and i took that in the spinal cord and a lung so for me it had to be instant death for the kill to count
