you can buy all at once but i think jumping between reserves all time is not necessary, new reserves are more for the time you have enough played the others.
but yes the are all worth it IMO
I never got bored and yes, definitively you should have at least all the maps.
Those weapons DLC's very often have some useless stuff in it, (chineese recurve bow e.g) so I would love to buy the weapons one by one instead of a whole bunch. So absolutely worth having all maps!
Hours spent in each reserve is insane so no need for extra maps like the others said :)
Tho i would consider starting the hunt in Hirschfelden, they are right that its easier to spot animals on layton, but they are also harder to kill, and early on it can be hard to track animals for miles.
While on Hirschfelden you can down almost every animals with one bullet in an instant, tho they will be harder to spot :) but thats a personal prefference
