Does anyone have an updated list with all the ultra rare fur types?

Or is it only the albino / leucistic / piebald / melanistic that qualify as ultra rare? I don't really care for blonde bears, gold wildebeest etc, I don't see those as rare.

Check the codex and look under animals. The rare furs for each species is listed there.

What is truly rare for one species might not be available or as rare to be found for another species. Take the Black Buck for example which have no Piebalds, Albinos are rare, Leucistic is considered to be rare but are more abundant than Albinos. As Nightwalker indicated, it's best to look up each species in the Codex. The fur that is without doubt the rarest of the rare furs is the Crested fur of the Wildebeast. Some species have many color variations (lBlonde, Cinnamon, dark etc...) and you won't find those listed under "Rare" in the codex but they do qualify as being "uncommon" for some of the daily challenges.

My bad... Go to the game home page and open "Guides". Select "game play basics". scroll down to the one on rare furs. In a nutshell the rare furs are Albino, Melanistic, Piebald, Crested (Wildebeast only), Spirit (Brown Bears only) and Leucistic (sp?). Mule deer have two kinds of Piebalds. One is mostly dark brown with patches of lighter brown and the other is the conventional patchwork of white and brown. Good Luck and Good Hunting!
