Are there any plans in making a new "the hunter 2020" to be released?

mostly asking before i buy into this game (when on sell) to get everything at once. if they where planning to make a new game, i was more willing to buy that game, 1 can only tell how much better the world might be with waterfalls running water and more stunning options.. and more fresh game. from what i can tell game looks great.. (more then that from what i watched.... but can always add more... )

I doubt that they are even developing one, they are earning probably more with micro dlcs.

No reason to make a new game, this one has only been around for a couple of years. Think I speak for everyone when I say that I sincerely hope this game is a project of theirs for at least another 5 years, if not longer.

And it wouldn't take a whole new game to add waterfalls and options.

It's extremely unlikely a new Hunter game will come out anytime soon.

Reason being, this game has stunning graphics, it works very very well, it has been improved over the years, has decent amount of content, and can be expanded almost endlessly.

I hope they keep making DLC for this game for many years to come, i own all DLC, and will buy any future DLC they decide to release, probably on day one.

1. Maps DLC expand the game a lot. (3 of them include a gun too).
2. Weapon DLC gives you more guns, and variety, the animations and sounds on the guns are awesome.

3. Stuff like Tripods, Hitech pack (night vision binoculars/scope etc), Tents , ATV , all have their uses.


All DLC is useful in some way.

I dont think the graphics are stunning and i think the animal animation is poor.
Its a great game but ive seen animals doing hand stands, ive seen larger animal doing a 180 turn with no animation at all.
The animal animation is a major part of the game, if they cant sort the finer details of animation on the current engine, maybe its time for a rethink?

aslong there come more Maps und Animals nd Weapons im fine :) Its the near perfect casual Hunter Game for me... ( but i also would not want a hardcore one).and making a new engine and a new game would take years for a small Team. But i also would not mind if they do.. aslong DLC is still coming fast

Not really likely. I'd say, the most likely chance of a new "Hunter" game being announced is if a new game engine for it is out.

I am glad I am not the only one who sees this as a major shortcoming. I even mentioned in my game review.

To be honest I'd personally like to have options to make it more"hardcore"/more about wildlife preservation. Because the current game is (more or less) just about randomly killing animals.

Different seasons and an actual sexual reproduction system would make it a bit more interesting in my opinion.
