I saw this exact video few weeks ago and now it's my favorite spot.. I mainly hunt geese there but I see many different animals. This spot, combined with another I have for geese hunting, enabled me to make something like 200k in few days, while geese hunting.
Just fired up CotW since the update and saw the new Red Deer racks within minutes at this spot.
Go to Yukon and wipe out bison herds, if you find a big herd that's 10k+ or so fairly quickly.
missions like Cap'n said pay out well also.
If you have Yukon map, no need for the 7mm. get teh .300 much much better for classes 7-9. 7mm is too small for moose and Bison in my experience, they tend to get hit and run forever.
So true, 7mm in Yukon is no good. If I have to shoot a bison 3-4x with rounds that are like 120 creds each, it gets expensive :/ I'm a rookie but I dont think Ive ever had a double lung shot on bison from 200m+ with the 7mm. I hunted geese all day today to get .300. It's more than the .338 rangemaster but reload is way faster on .300. Someone gave me good advice couple days ago on the .300 vs .338...might actually have been you actually
4 bullets vs 1. A huge advantage IMO.
It's also has a higher accuracy. It's definitely better for long shot kills.
Edit: The .300 carries more ammo and is a beast!
Yea I put the Argus scope on my .300, hang out around the lodge in mornings and pick off bison from 300-400m pretty easy, and good shots will insta-kill even from those distances.
No offense but the grind in this game is ridiculous.
