.270 Win vs 30-06

I'm a pretty new player (80hrs), I only have weapon pack 3 and for the longest time just couldn't decide what I liked better. I love hunting deer, so anything over 300 yards I would use the 30-06, under 300 yards the precision of the .270. I've finally given up on the 0.270 for anything deer size and up. Is this correct?

Do we have to adjust for distance/bullet drop or is it assumed the scope is always zeroed in?
Do I have to account for arrow drop over certain distances?

if you shoot on 400 with set 300 you need to aim a little higher (not over the aniamls but in spine height to get a middel shoot) if you shoot with set 150 you need to aim even more higher.
best is you train this on the shooting range in Hirschfelden.
