New player question: What trophy scores do most experience players taxidermy?

I've had a couple of 300+ gold medals but I dont think they were worth taxidermy cost.
What is the average trophy score where you decide to taxidermy.
I decided to upgrade to Hyperion scope for 12k....so worth it!

I only taxidermize diamonds (mission diamonds included) and rare furs, anything else is not worth a spot in the lodge imo , unless it's a bugged diamond that can only make gold (i.e. Elk).

I'd save a trophy and then get it mounted when you have more money.

It costs nothing to save an animal for taxidermy work later when you can better afford to pay the taxidermy fee. I think you can save 10 animals that way. What makes an animal a trophy depends upon you. It could be that you made the best shot of your life to harvest it or, in the case of a mission related animal, the most time sucking experience of your life to harvest it.

Good choice on getting the Hyperion scope by the way.

Diamonds, Rare Furs and at first Gold from every species aslong i dont have a Diamond of that species, and Gold for Multi Trophys ( you never will fill these with Diamonds...)
But its really to expensive to taxidermize even Gold from everything...at least aslong you dont have bought all Weapons.

I never get diamonds so it's really good gold for me.
