Yes, they can respawn.
They will not tell us the reserve or which species only when a new one is available, will be up to the community to find them.
I assume its 1 level past the max of that species, so in case of the whitetail, probably difficulty 4.
So they Will not say wich reserve or specie is concerne for the next Great Ones...
If it is extremely rare, it Will be very difficult to found one, because Now there is a lot of reserves (very larges) and species...
So thks.
Great One Whitetail is a lvl 10 as you can see in this picture.

When the next Great One is coming, did the remove the first one (whitetail)? Or great one species are cumulative ?... Do you know ?
What should I do to catch it?
The next species followed in November 2021 with the Red Deer.
Black Bear received its great one with the Revontuli Coast Update (Patch 1.74, 28 June 2022)
Moose got its Great Ones with the 6 December 2022 Update.
Fallow Deer got its Great Ones with the release of Emerald Coast on 20 June 2023.
Tahr species got its Great One with the release of Sundarpatan on 18 June 2024.
Red Fox and Ring-Necked Pheasant got their Great Ones in December 2024 with the Salzwiesen Park release.
With the Great Ones a new difficulty level was introduced, namely "10 - Fabled", and even animals that usually only reach lower difficulty levels (e.g. a Diamond Whitetail Deer is difficulty "3 - Very Easy") are difficulty 10 as a Great One.
The antlers of Great Ones are marked as "atypical" in the TruScore evaluation screen. While so far only Great Ones with atypical antlers exist, this feature might be introduced to lower-class animals as well in the future, as it is the case in theHunter Classic.
