What do I get for deciding to use Taxidermy?

What do I get for deciding to use Taxidermy? I get a cash reward for killing/finding an animal, but not understanding this part.

You use taxidermy to save or pay money to be able to place the animal in your trophy lodge, if you own either DLC for the trophy lodges.

You can taxidermy your animals at great expense to put them in the lodge you buy at great expense, AND, if you're lucky, you won't lose everything because of either a crappy update or bugs... I lost everything and would not waste my time nor money on either ever again... Yep, it really pissed me off along with all the other stuff I've lost because of bugs and crap updates.

Did you double check the animals in the manager? I went to my lodge and all my large muilt-mounts were gone ,I had to retrieve and place them again.

I lost everything. I'm pretty ticked off about all the stuff I've lost, but even more ticked off that they don't seem to be in too much of a hurry to put things right? Selling rubbish DLCs to the gullible seems to be the way it goes.

That does suck ,I know how much work and in game money it takes.

Dozens of tents, a lodge full of high end trophies, harvests, points, money, ammo, and it all started with the Yukon reserve. The game has been a ♥♥♥♥♥ ever since that introduction. The last "update" zeroed all my skills and perks, although in all honesty, they seem to still work.

I can't imagine what could be going on ,some have little to no issues and others have mega troubles. I guess that's one reason it must be difficult to fix.

I appreciate it's not straight forward but there are lots of issues that have been commented about and they've been ongoing for years. still they seem to just ignore them. Every new "update" seems to introduce more issues. A bit like the government. Give you a fiver in one hand and take a tenner with the other. Just so disappointing as the game is visually stunning and could be so much better because of what it has to offer.

Your right ,I spend a lot of time hunting on all the reserves and really enjoy this game but it could use work and polish to make it even better.

you should just sell the Taxidermy for more money depending on how it was killed.
