Eckers .30-06 or 7MM Magnum for Red Deer?

Assuming all DLC:

Which of these two weapons is best/easier at downing them fast with max score?

or is there something else that can do the job?

I desperately need a gold red deer, i messed one up cause i didn't had the consecutive harvests at 100%

Maybe the Hudzik .50 muzzleloader can do the job?

I've compared both(.30-06 and 7mm) say you're better with the .30-06 as it has a 4 round charger(faster 2nd shot if you miss 1rst or for an other animal), a very good penetration and expansion.

Eckers for me 100%. Its my Laser and has become my favorite Weapon for everything in its Range.

The muzzle loader... you need go close with it at least 70 to 100 (imo) and learn to aim with it. With the Eckers i shoot Gold with no Problem at 300.

* and i dont think you still need consecutive harvest for Trophy Rating , or am i wrong ?

I got my Gold Red Deer! I'm so happy! :D

After killing a bunch of difficulty 6 male red deers and keep getting silver cause i messed up the shot, or they had 95% quick kill or something (as opposed to 100)

I finally trailed some more red deers, and as usual roe deers show up to distract you/trick you into shooting them so you scare off the red deer and lose it.

I wasn't going to get tricked this time, i ignored the roe deer, suddenly the droppings for the red deer said "just now", i get anxious, and start paying a lot of attention... suddenly i hear footsteps...

i look through my binoculars, and suddenly i see a difficulty 7 red deer, i know it can give me gold, he's facing towards me...

i aim at his heart with my Eckers .30-06.... BLAM!! he drops like a stone!

i eagerly run to the carcass to harvest it... and it's GOLD! YES!!!!! :D


hunting at night is fun :) i'm getting seriously addicted to this game... it's just so good...

I'm doing this to get the FREE 6.5mm swedish rifle from Cuatro colinas... still need a couple more missions to go...
