New weapons pack 2 dlc
The new weapons for pack 2 have been revealed.
Colt 410/45, a shotgun/pistol combo.

Grelk drilling rifle, which I believe is just another rifle/shotgun combo in a long gun form rather than a pistol.

And a Solokhin MN1890, which I have no idea what it is. I’m sure someone does?

Anyone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong or share their thoughts...I’m curious to see if they’ll be mainstays in our load outs or not.

I'm not sure about the MN, but at the very least the drilling gun and the new revolver should be very useful because of their flexibility.

The drilling gun will probably give full integrity for many species, including the smallest ones such as ducks and rabbits (if you use shots, not bullets ofc). My prediction is that by switching between modes (bullets/shots) you will be able to take anything ranging from a rabbit to a red deer with this rifle while keeping full integrity.

The new revolver is something which many people have been asking about - a handgun for small game. Not everyone wants to use .22LR because it takes too much inventory space. This revolver will be the answer.

I do not need more weapons. Treestands, loadouts or dogs and bugfixes would be much better.

I agree. Currently the game is really broken from bugs. Additions really should come second to fixing bugs

Nice, thanks for the thoughts. I agree. I think the shotgun/rifle or shotgun/pistol combos should be useful. I definitely didn’t see them coming either
I’m excited by new content, but hope shotguns are adjusted so that this works better. How can u add a shotgun when shotguns are a bit messed up atm?

I might buy into tree stands...

But the later bug fixes is what needs occur.

I too do not need more guns.
What I have gets it done.

The Moisin Nagant is carabine used by russian force in WW1 and WW2 - Like it´s german counterpart the K98, they are very good bolt action rifles with 5 shot internal magazines. It will be good for hunting 100 Meters and more(with scope).

Be interesting to see where they put the integrity of the 45LC.
Mahelz3750 Feb 25, 2019 @ 5:22pm
Well, integrity doesn’t always make sense to me. so let’s hope that the integrity of each make sense

Edit: integrity doesn’t just not make sense, it’s bogus IMO

Mosin nagant should be an interesting wide range integrity to use, I hope

Only reason I was curious about the integrity on the .45LC is because I own one in a single action. There aren't a lot of ammo types that I've come across for it. There are a few self defense loads for it, but for the most part you are throwing one big piece of lead and it isn't travelling very fast.

yeah, seems like a weird choice for a hunting game. I’ve heard it’s used for self defense, mostly. I’d be curious to find out if anyone has ever actually hunted with the .45/410

I got to looking around a little and wound up on a forum and yeah, some people still hunt with it. From what little I've read, the 45LC can be hand loaded to push 41 and 44 mag numbers. I do know Buffalo Bore offers high pressure loads for the 45LC. Those run a range of 1,170 to 1,500 fps. One of the loads uses a jacketed flat nose (1,214 fps) and another uses a 225gr solid copper hollow point at 1,500 fps.
