Lion variations?

I’m curious whether there are more then one lion variation? All female lions look identical and all male lions look identical. Are there rare fur types for lions? or at the very least (like other animals) are there a couple variations of the common fur type?

I do agree. I find them quite boring as of now. Only one color and the color looks unrealistic orange-yellow cartoonish. Furthermore i'd expect them to growl or roar louder and with more variations. Despite of that i miss some typical movement variations. Don't get me wrong, i like the fact to put a big and dangerous predator into the Savannah, but i don't find them appealing to hunt. But i hope that their behaviour & appearance will improve with future patches.
