No, they said they would not add all of the big 5. Lion was always planned. The other big 5 animals they have said no on, but not for political reasons as so many idiots keep claiming it is. More so because they would require unique AI and models that can't really be used on any other animals, while the Lion model and AI can be used for other species of cat with some minor changes. There really isn't any other animals similar to giraffe, rhino, or elephant so it would be useless in the long run to add them.... if anything we'd get the leopard at the most since that is at least semi-similar to other species... and also they want to spend the development time on other things.

Lion was the only Big 5 animal I cared about anyway so I don't care if I don't get to hunt the others.

TBH no Elephants, Rhino's, Hippo's Nile Croc's, or Giraffe's for reasons their AI's can't be reused is total B.S. a Rhino's AI is literally the same as a Bison or other open land grazing animal just MORE Aggressive, going with this an Elephant is the same just need to tack on the ability to use the trunk & tone down aggression on site, Hippo's & Croc's Can share an AI for Waters edge & deep water movement, Just need to make the hippo's sink & not allow it to bask & have hippo's come out of the water at night, The Giraffe is again the only unique one BUT its basically the same as a deer, just change its grazing behaviour to target trees.

as for transfer-ability of AI's no need the big 5's AI's are already in the game just need to cross the i's & dot the T's on'em. Croc/Hippo AI' IS transferable if they do an everglades or south east Asia maps for ANY crocodile or Tapir.

So the REAL reason for the absence of the big 5 is Laziness & Fear of insane organised syndicates like P.I.T.A. personally LET ME HUNT the big 5 in a game I DON'T CARE its a game they are polygons in cyberspace not living creatures GET OVER this political B.S. and hive your players what they want in the game the African big 5 & wolves for northern maps.

I don't get why they are reluctant to add those species. How come killing people in video games is okay and when it comes to animals some get really mad. There is far worse content in other video games such as murder, torture, mass shootings and bombings, assasination, drugs etc. This is why we have PEGI. Tbh, I would never kill an animal in the wild unless my own life is threatened but there is absolutely nothing wrong doing it virtually.

Exactly, I do hunt IRL myself but I always make sure its done responsibly & with a high enough calibre to down the animal on the spot, no running & suffering in my kills, Plus I eat the meat & use every thing I can My Gardens & worm bins like what I can't use & the hides sell for enough to get my ammo & maintenance done.

That was a Tangent but my point is even if I was to kill an elephant I'd use every part of its body, as is Responsible & respectful to the animal.

Too many bleading heart vegan bunnies in the world today if you ask me. We're Predators by Nature so let us have the fantasy at lest of hunting the biggest animals out there.
