You have to be careful when exploring the Savannah because, on one hand you have the fast, deadly and territorial lions and on the other you have the slower but just as aggresive and persistent buffaloes. It's definently not for the faint of heart or those looking for a peaceful hunt where they are sole the apex predator around.
So ok, maybe a Lion or Puma could have got up on the rock or just taken a swipe at me, but even a Lion or Puma doesn't have 6 metre long claws. From the videos I saw of the lion attacks .. nearly all had turned away before getting anywhere near close enough to realistically do any damage.
The same thing is happening every time a Buff, Deer or Antelope passes by too. The whole attack/damage scenario needs a tidy up. It just looks so wrong.
Although most of the videos I've watched so far from people in the beta, made them look rather easy, and generally non-threatening (which was disappointing--even for the YouTubers). But that was just from a few videos I saw, so it's probably (hopefully) not 100% indicative of what to expect. Either way, we'll find out soon enough, I guess.
Sorry for my poor grammar and again this could just very well be all me
So what kind of caliber did he use when he killed you?
