Where are the Grizzly Bears in the Yukon Valley map

I started out on the map headed to the tower and after the tower instructed to head to the first cabin. I saw plenty of bears and lots of tracks. Went back in another day and saw 2 more by the lakes and that was the last time. No tracks showing up anywhere on the map. What's up with that?

I find them in the south around the rivers and creeks and all along the east also along the water ways. I have found a few in the forest,you can hear them but not seeing them can get spooky.

Check out the rivers in the SE section of the map and specifically those sand bar crossing areas. Best time seems to be between 0600-0800. I've also found bear rest zones in the woods near the bridges a time or two.
